During the Toastmaster year (July 1 through June 30), clubs have the opportunity to work on a set of goals proposed by Toastmasters International. The better a club does in this program signals how well the club is doing in furthering the Toastmaster mission.
Plano Talkers has been awarded the President’s Distinguished Club award for this last year (ending June 30, 2008 ) and is working toward receiving that same award this year. The following chart shows our progress.
The following list shows all 10 of the goals. Plano Talkers needs to complete 9 of the 10 goals to achieve President’s Distinguished Club status.

9. Minimum of four club officers trained during each of the two training periods: Chuck, Stephen J, Andrew, Paul for Summer 2008 Training. All Officers for the Winter Training
10. One membership dues renewal report and one club officer list submitted on time: Fall 2008 Dues renewal. December officer list for Jan to June 2009 submitted.
Qualification Requirement: at least 20 registered members on June 30, 2009.
